How to Make Palak Paneer in Instant Pot

Press SAUTE on Instant Pot. Add Oil to the Pot. Add Cumin Seeds & Asafoetida/Hing once the oil is hot, and let the Cumin Splutter.

Next, Add roughly Chopped Onion, Ginger, Green Chilies(Optional) , and sauté until onions turn light brown.

Add Roughly diced Tomatoes. Saute well for a minutes. Add Salt, and Saute well until tomatoes turns soft and mushy.

Add Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder and Red Chili Powder. And Saute for 1-2 minutes.

Add fresh Spinach and Water.

Close the lid securely, and turn the vent to Sealing.
Select the PRESSURE COOK (High Pressure) setting and set the cooking time to 1 minute.

When the Instant Pot beeps, release pressure manually after 2 minutes.
Blend the ingredients in the pot to a creamy texture using a immersion blender.
If you don’t have an immersion blender, then take out the mixture, let it cool down completely then blend it well and add the mixture back to instant pot.

Lastly, add Garam Masala and Paneer Cubes ( Cottage Cheese) and Mix Well.

Cover & Cook it on Saute mode for 1-2 minutes
